PINSCON2025 Abstract Submission Guidelines

We invite you to submit abstracts for PINSCON2025, for the following categories:

  • Case Reports and Case Series
  • Research and Original Articles
  • Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses
  • Quality Improvement Projects / Clinical Audits

Abstract Structure

  1. Category: Choose one of the four listed categories that best fits your abstract.
  2. Title: Use Title Case (Capitalize Each Major Word). Maximum 25 words.
  3. Objective: Clearly state the purpose of the study. If applicable, specify both primary and secondary objectives.
  4. Methodology:
    • Must include study design, setting, duration, sampling method, sample size, criteria, and data collection procedure.
    • For quantitative studies, describe the statistical methods used in simple terms.
    • For systematic reviews and meta-analyses, include your search strategy and data bases.
  5. Results: Summarize the main findings with relevant percentage and frequency for assessed variables, and use appropriate units for values analyzed using relevant statistical formulae.
  6. Conclusion: Provide a clear conclusion that answers your research question or objective. Do not give recommendations here. Avoid repeating the results verbatim.
  7. Keywords: Provide at least three relevant keywords.

Additional Requirements

  1. Conflict of Interest: Disclose any potential conflicts of interest, such as funding, honoraria, professional affiliations, or personal relationships. If none, write: none to declare.
  2. Ethical Approval and Funding:
    • For original research and clinical studies, include the name of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee that approved the study, along with the approval number.
    • All sources of funding must be clearly stated.
    • For systematic reviews and meta-analyses, include your PROSPERO registration number.

Abstract Publication

All accepted abstracts will be published as submitted in a biomedical journal (to be announced soon). Once submitted for publication, withdrawals will not be possible. To request a withdrawal before publication, email the PINSCON2025 organizing committee by September 20, 2025.

Presenter Registration Requirement

  • All abstract presenters (oral or poster) must present in person at the conference venue.
  • Presenters must be registered for PINSCON 2025 by September 15, 2025.
  • Abstracts without a registered presenter by this deadline will be withdrawn from the program.
  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to assign the final presentation format (oral or poster) for all accepted abstracts, regardless of the submitter’s preference.

Permissions

By submitting an abstract, the submitter confirms that:

  • All authors have approved the abstract.
  • Permission is granted to publish the abstract as submitted.
  • Permission is granted to record and publicly host the presentation for approximately one year on the official conference website.
  • The presenting author or a co-author will register and present the work at the conference.
  • There will be no exceptions to the permission requirements.

Note: Presentation at PINSCON2025 does not count as prior publication for purposes of submission to peer-reviewed journals.

Submitter and Presenter Responsibilities

  • Submitters must ensure the accuracy of all author and presenter contact information.
  • Presenters using third-party designers for slides/posters are responsible for conveying conference specifications.
  • Poster presenters will be required to submit an electronic version of their poster, which will be displayed both on-site and on the conference platform.
  • Communications will be sent to the submitter and then the presenter if different.

Awards and Recognition

  • All accepted abstracts will be automatically considered for subject-specific recognitions.
  • Abstracts will also be eligible for:
    • Best Oral Presentation Award for each specialty session
    • Best E-Poster Award for each specialty session
  • To be eligible for these awards, in-person presentation is mandatory. The award will be presented to the presenting author only.
